What is Ayurved?

Word Ayurved is composed of two Sanskrit terms – ‘Ayus’ meaning life and ‘Veda’ meaning knowledge, literally meaning – the knowledge and science of life.

Ayurved uses 5 element (space/ air, wind, fire, water and earth) and Tridosha theory (Vata, Pita, Kapha) to detect personality, ailment and treatment.

We offer Panchakarma therapies like, Vamana, Virechana, Anuvasana Basti, Niruha Basti and Nasya, along with many other pre and post procedural treatments.

Dr. Nikunj Mewada (M.D-Panchakarma)

Dr. Nikunj Mewada (M.D-Panchakarma), Senior Ayurvedic – Panchakarma Physicion of Nirogdham Ayurved Hospital. He has completed his B.A.M.S. from Shree O.H.Nazar Ayurved college, Surat, Gujarat in year 2007. He did his Post Graduation, M.D in Panchakarma (Ayurved) from Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar in 2012. He is well versed with all Panchakarma procedures and deal with all Chronic Disorders using genuine Ayurvedic treatments. He is a visiting Lecturer in Parul Institute of Ayurved, Baroda.

He has keen interest and experience in preparation of Ayurvedic medicine like Tailams, Ghritams, Guggulu, Vati, Churna, Rasa-Aushadhi, Kupipakwa Rasayana, Bhasmas, Lehams etc. All the medicines used at NIROGDHAM are prepared at Ayurvedic Research Lab under his expert guidance. He is specialized in treating Joints Pain, Slip disc, Arthritis, Sciatica, Paralysis, Psoriasis, Sexual problems, etc.
